Stopped here on the first fuel stop on a 10-day trip from Florida to California.  Great Service and friendly staff.  A quick turn and great fuel price.  Would highly recommend!

N422DL 3/15/ 2016 - We've stopped here for fuel 4 times in the last 3 months on our trips between Florida and Texas.  We always get quick, courteous service and the lowest fuel price in the area.  On our last trip, we elected to spend the night due to wx and was quickly handed the keys to the crew car and given directions to a nearby Holiday Inn Express.  Many thanks to the airport manager and line crew that went the extra mile to make sure that all our needs were met.

I have flown into the Destin area since the early 1980's and am quite familiar with all the airports since I have second homes in the area. While I am writing to praise this airport and BOTH Scott and Ryan, the fact is that even though DTS is closer to my homes, I have a hangar at 54J and I have never regretted it for one minute. I once told the people at DTS that given they’re over charging for everything, I would rather own the FBO there than have a license to steal. The City also needs congratulations because it is very clear that a decision was made to upgrade the airport and the City appears to be doing everything in their power to move as fast as they can to do just that. Again, one just cannot say enough good things about the people at 54J - Ryan and Scott in particular - and the fuel prices are so reasonable that we all really need to support this airport be it local or just passing through.
