Smoke Alarm Program

The City of DeFuniak Springs Fire Department is proud to have partnered with the American Red Cross in providing FREE 10 year battery life smoke detectors to City residents. Simply fill out the form below and our staff will be in contact with you within 10 business days to schedule an install. Our firemen will come out and install as many smoke detectors as needed, free of charge, courtesy of the American Red Cross.
