Adrian Alford, age 83, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his residence.  He was born September 5, 1939 in Freeport, Florida. Adrian loved the Lord with all his heart.  He loved singing gospel, breeding and showing dogs and, most of all, his famly.

Adrian is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lydia Alford; and his brother, Edgar Lee Alford.

Adrian is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Syble Davis Alford; one daughter, Cynthia Farr; one son, James Alford; three granddaughters, Heather Holmes, Samantha Garrett (Cody), and Hillary Hines (Austin); seven great grandchildren, Cayden, Nadalynn, Kamdin, Remingten, Korbin, Talen and Kimberlen; seven sisters, Frances Clary, Carol Rowe, Jeanette Gavins, Shirley Holley, twin sister Adelaide Lehmkuhle (Bill), Margaret Hancock (Reno), and Sarah Henderson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his very special friend, Russel Taylor.   

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David King and Reverend Hubert Paul officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Committal services will follow at Magnolia Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
