[ARCHIVED] DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER

Each year across our nation more than 10,000 people lose their lives as a result of impaired drivers.  “Safety is our main concern,” remarked Chief Mark Weeks.  “If you choose to drink, have a designated driver.  My Officers will be looking for reckless and impaired drivers over the holidays.  We want everyone to enjoy the season and arrive safely at their destination.”  Remember – Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

The penalties for being caught driving while under the influence are severe.  Even if it is your first time, you can face fines up to $1,000 and imprisonment for up to 6 months.  Additionally, the costs of an attorney, car insurance rates, and possible lost wages can exceed $10,000.  Don’t risk it!  Have a designated sober driver or call a taxi.
