[ARCHIVED] ARGUMENT LEADS TO FIGHT WITH KNIFE AND CHAINSAW

DeFuniak Springs Police responded to 269 N. 11th Street at approximately 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a 911 hang-up.  Officers arrived to find a man that had been cut during an altercation.  Rodney Robinson and Booketee Hartfield, Jr. had been in an argument at their residence when witnesses say Robinson pulled a knife on Hartfield.  Hartfield then allegedly swung a chainsaw, which was off at the time, at Robinson.  Robinson sustained non-life threatening lacerations to his forearm and was transported to Healthmark Regional Medical Center for treatment.  He was later arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  Hartfield was not charged in the incident due to witness accounts that he was defending himself.
