[ARCHIVED] DeFuniak man arrested for possession of cocaine, ICE, and marijuana

On May 31, 2017 at approximately 8:20 P.M., detectives with the DeFuniak Springs Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Baldwin Avenue for having an expired tag.  The owner of the vehicle gave detectives permission to search his vehicle.  During the search, detectives located a broken glass pipe in front of the front passenger seat which was occupied by Bernard Durham, a 38 year old black male from DeFuniak Springs.  The glass pipe was consistent with drug paraphernalia used to smoke "crack" cocaine.  A search was conducted of Durham and glass shards consistent with the broken "crack" pipe were found in his pants pocket along with one pill of hydrocodone.  Detectives then located a plastic container next to the passenger seat that contained approximately 6 grams of "ICE" methamphetamine.  Also located in the vehicle was a sock that contained approximately a 1/2 gram of powder cocaine and 3 grams of marijuana.  Durham was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
