Active Shooter Magazine

In the wake of the recent active shooter tragedies, DeFuniak Springs Police are distributing a magazine to help in planning a response. The magazine titled "Active Shooter Situations" is published by L.A.W. Publications and offers detailed suggestions on how to plan and deal with active shooter scenarios. "This guide is another tool that can help keep the public safe," said Chief Mark Weeks. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims in Pittsburg. We want to help prevent this tragedy from striking our community." The magazines will be available at the DeFuniak Springs Police Department at no cost while supplies last. If you live in the City and would like a copy of the magazine brought to you or have additional questions, please contact us at 850-892-8513.
