On August 25th, 2011, 6:00 pm, at the DeFuniak Springs Community Center (Civic Center) members from the DeFuniak Springs Police are scheduled to meet with several citizens from the Magnolia Lake Community.
The DeFuniak Springs Police is very excited about being a big part of this first time ever Neighbor Hood Watch Program here in this Great City of DeFuniak Springs. This is just one of the many new programs that this agency has helped develop over the last few years. DeFuniak Springs Police continues to strive to prove they are “In Partnership with our Community”.
Lieutenant Tilman Mears is the DeFuniak Springs Police Liaison for these types of programs, and encourages the other communities to contact him if they are interested in establishing a Watch Program in their area.
