DeFuniak Springs Police wants to thank the owner and operator of Bullets and Bone Sportsman’s Club, Mr. Scott McKinney, for the generous donation in the amount of $200.00.

McKinney’s business was a sponsor for the Walton County Fair during the week of October 7th 2013. During this week, the members from the business raffled off a box of 1,000 rounds of 22 cal. Long Rifle ammunition, and were successful in raising $401.00.

McKinney met with Chief Mark A. Weeks to present him a check for $200.00 to show his appreciation and support of the local law enforcement efforts. McKinney also advised he would be presenting the other $200.00 to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

“This donation will go into the community service fund to help with the community events and services that our agency promotes throughout the year. This fund is donations that the agency receives throughout the year to promote public safety and community events,” said Chief Mark A. Weeks.
