[ARCHIVED] TWO CHARGED WITH MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE AFTER PARKING FOR SEX

A Detective with the DeFuniak Springs Police discovered the makings of a meth lab while investigating a suspicious vehicle parked near Live Oak and 26th Street in DeFuniak Springs. The Detective noticed that the vehicle seemed suspicious and approached the male and female occupants, who admitted to parking to engage in sexual intercourse. The driver, identified as Ronald Dolan Wilson, W/M, 02/06/1979, gave consent to search the vehicle. The Detective and other Officers found baggies with methamphetamine residue inside the vehicle. Further searching resulted in the discovery of acidic liquids and other substances consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine. The substances were deactivated and collected as evidence.

Tonya Michelle Davis, W/F, 06/15/1978, along with Wilson (both from DeFuniak Springs) were arrested and charged with Manufacturing and Possession of Methamphetamine. They were booked into the Walton County Department of Corrections on these and other related charges.
