1. When will I be contacted for an interview?

Each Department has a different hiring time line. You may be contacted by phone or email if you are selected for an interview. If you are not selected or an interview, you will receive a letter by mail, following the close of the position you applied for, notifying you that you were not selected at this time for this position. Please contact HR for more information.

2. When will this job posting close?

We do not close a posting until an applicant has been selected for hire, unless otherwise stated in the job notice.

3. Where can I find your job postings?

4. Can I apply for a job that is not posted?

If you turn in your application stating that you wish to be considered for any open position, we will review your qualifications and consider your application accordingly. Should there not be any open positions at that time, we will retain your application until the next position becomes open and submit it the hiring supervisor for consideration.

6. Do I need to fill out another application if I already have one on file with the City?
